Ihre Aufgaben:
- Die Weiterentwicklung von existierenden Projekten und Neuentwicklung fuer das iPhone, iPod Touch und iPad.
- Zusammenarbeit beim Spieledesign, technischer Konzeption und Qualitaetskontrolle.

Anforderungen:
- sehr gute Objective-C und C Kenntnisse
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Xcode
- die Fähigkeit sich in vorhanden Code einzuarbeiten
- gutes Verständnis von Algorithmen und Datenstrukturen
- exzellente Codeanalyse Fähigkeiten und analytisches Vorgehen bei der Fehlersuche
- die Fähigkeit eigenverantwortlich und selbstständig zu Arbeiten
- gute Englisch Kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- begeisterter Gamer

ZombieSmash! Released & FinalKill Contest

Hi Zombie hunters,

we are super happy to announce that ZombieSmash! went live today. We are going to celebrate this with a little contest.

Here is what you can win:

ZombieSmash! is officially announced – The day after..

Hi iPhone gamers and ZS followers,

The last two days were certainly very exciting for us since we have ZombieSmash! in short crawling distance to the App Store. Getting the IGN wireless cover story as a completely independent studio for a debut title feels great and we were equally happy to see all the other news coverage. The gamedoctors story is quite different to the much seen “team of seasoned game industry veterans creating an iPhone game” story. We are seasoned PhD honored scientists who grew up with games and bring our own fresh take to the iPhone and other platforms. (get the company name, eh?).

On the ZombieSmash! music: From day one it was clear to us that the music is as important as great graphics and gameplay. Growing up with (retro) games, we know how much a great soundtrack adds to the experience. We could not phrase it any better than IGN’s Levi Buchanan: “Though I found ZombieSmash to be clever, what really took me by surprise was the music. It is exceptional.”

On Chillingo’s Crystal: We very happy when we got approval for Chillingo’s Crystal given that this is not only a community platform but also a AAA quality signature for gamers. Beta testing applications accepted NOW

We are finally getting ready for beta testing. Applications will be considered till Sunday, January 17th 2010. Testing starts within the next two weeks. We received great feedback from various community members and can’t wait to give ZombieSmash! the final touch.

Getting closer… approaching preview version

Hi iPhone gamers,

just want to give you an update about where we are with ZombieSmash!. After working months and months on the game mechanics, we are indeed all focused on finalizing the days to survive in 2010.

weapon_icon_nitro01 All zombies and specials are set including liquid nitrogen (weapon poll winner). See in-game icon here. We connect to OpenFeint, Facebook and Playhaven for online scores, bragging, sharing moments of violence, and getting in touch with other ZombieSmash! gamers. Since we don’t want anybody to loose faith while an official trailer/promo material is in the making, we will put a little self-made video online soon showing real game-play on a real device. Stay tuned on Twitter and always check our TA thread.

Also, let us know which castle defense game (considering those where you flick, drag, smash) you like best in our new poll. I do have my personal favorite but I don’t want to bias here…

Weapons, specials and upgrades

Hi iPhone-gamers,

thanks for tuning in. We have been asked frequently if ZombieSmash! will be on the AppStore for Helloween. The answer is: no. This is not a Halloween gimmick but serious zombie business ;) . It may happen around Christmas if Zombie-Santa thinks we have been good.

We are keeping up to the promise of having a multitude of weapons and specials in this first campaign of ZombieSmash! (Yes, this is just the beginning). Weapons are unlocked after mastering campaign levels (or other challenges) and can be enjoyed, bought and upgraded in the weapon shop. BTW, most weapons and specials can interact with each other. Its quite fun to “woosh” in a wrecking ball when zombies have been immobilized with some rocks :)

Liquid nitrogen wins weapon poll

Hi ZombieSmash! followers,

You made your choice. We are going to add “liquid nitrogen” to the game. This is actually the toughest one to implement since we cannot use much of existing effects. Thanks for that! ;)

The way it is supposed to work is like that: A canister with “Liquid nitrogen” can be thrown onto the scene and freezes zombies. Frozen zombies can be killed in turn…

ZombieSmash! SplatterEngine video

Hi iPhone gamers,

Our Blog has been quiet recently but this does not mean that there is no progress. Quite the contrary, we are ultra busy with finishing up the game and preparing the launch. There will be an official trailer but here is a glimpse at the SplatterEngine for those who a wondering where this is going.

We are going into Beta testing end of October. There is more news to come… Stay tuned.
